Jaybro in Auckland is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role is responsible for delivering WOW customer experience through every customer interaction through outstanding service and product knowledge to Jaybro’s infrastructure, construction and building trade customers.
This is a permanent full-time job opportunity with working hours from 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming phone, email, and web enquiries from trade customers and convert to sales.
- Proactively contact white space - dream list, drop offs, new customers to promote products, campaigns, or offers
- Follow up quotes to closure managed in Salesforce
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell across product categories
- Process sales orders and quotes accurately in the system (SAP).
- Work in collaboration with Business Development team to support sales outcomes in the region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of WOW service and retention.
- Ensure customers receive timely and accurate responses to their inquiries
- Resolve customer issues or complaints promptly, escalating where necessary.
- Support trade account customers with order tracking, returns, product information, and credit applications.
- Liaise with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Customer Service/Sales with inbound and outbound calls, upselling and cross-selling, preferably in a construction-related industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems and experience using CRM software
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Participate in necessary trade sales training specific to your role
