The team at Carole Park, QLD are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, checking for accuracy and verifying the condition of the items.
- Ensure all deliveries are properly documented and logged in the inventory management system.
- Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.
- Regularly update and maintain inventory records, including stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates (if applicable).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols.
Requirements
- 1+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution
- Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable
- A strong commitment to safety practices
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Well organised with a proactive approach
- Eager to learn with a growth mindset
- Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team
