Data Administrator
At Jaybro, we are a leading supplier of building materials for construction sites, road and civil construction, local government, and more. We are currently seeking a self-starter with a passion for data, detail and driving quality outcomes? We need a proactive Data Administrator to join the team who thrives working autonomously, has strong Excel capability, and brings a “get up and go” attitude to managing and enriching product data.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our product information is complete, accurate, and optimised for use across our business systems. If you’re someone with the ambition to deliver high-quality, enriched data and enjoy collaborating with multiple teams, we’d love to hear from you. The role is an initial 6-month fixed term contract with opportunity for extension to 12 months.
Responsibilities:
Engage directly with suppliers to gather product information and fill data gaps
Cleanse, manipulate, and optimise data to ensure accuracy and consistency
Upload enriched product data into our ERP system and Product Information Platform
Explore alternative avenues to obtain missing data when suppliers are unable to provide it
Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product information and boost data quality
Manage weekly data uploads and deliver work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain strong data management practices across all product lines
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems and experience using CRM software.
Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Participate in necessary training specific to your role.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate, analyse, and transform data
