System Administrator
Jaybro Group is seeking a motivated and hands-on System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s core IT infrastructure across multiple sites including servers, networking, cloud platforms, communication systems, and security tools.
You will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations while supporting ongoing infrastructure improvements and technology initiatives across the business.
The role is permanent full-time based in Arndell Park.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems
Administer and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
Perform patch management and system updates using ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
Create and deploy software packages using ManageEngine Endpoint Central or other endpoint management tools.
Build and maintain OS deployment packages/images for workstation provisioning using endpoint management tools such as ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud
Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Support cloud services and integrations across the business.
Network & Connectivity
Support and maintain network infrastructure including HP Aruba switches, HP Aruba wireless access points, and Palo Alto firewalls across multiple sites.
Assist with troubleshooting LAN, WAN, VPN, and site connectivity issues.
Communication Platforms
Administer and support the Microsoft Teams Phone system.
Support and maintain the Amazon Connect contact centre platform.
Cybersecurity
Support the administration and monitoring of security platforms including CrowdStrike endpoint protection and Abnormal Security email protection.
Assist in monitoring security events and alerts using ManageEngine Log360 and Zabbix monitoring platform.
Follow security best practices and assist with security improvements.
IT Operations & Support
Provide Level 2/3 technical support for escalated technical issues.
Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
Ensure backup systems and disaster recovery processes are functioning correctly.
Business Systems & Operations
Support office and warehouse operational technology, including label printers and related hardware used in warehouse and logistics operations.
Work with internal teams to ensure operational systems remain reliable.
Projects & Business Growth
Assist with IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
Support IT activities related to company acquisitions, including onboarding systems, infrastructure alignment, and system integration.
Travel interstate when required to support acquisition-related IT integration and site setup activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
Experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, user management).
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including HP Aruba switches and HP Aruba wireless access points.
Experience with endpoint management and patching tools such as ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networks, and user environments.
Ability to provide Level 2/3 infrastructure support.
Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments.
Experience creating and deploying software packages and OS deployment packages/images using ManageEngine Endpoint Central or similar endpoint management tools
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
