The team at Smithfield NSW are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join their team.
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper documentation in the inventory system
Store materials safely and efficiently in designated warehouse locations
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with customer and internal requirements
Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, movements, and cycle counts/audits
Operate warehouse equipment and coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
Requirements
1+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution
Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable
A strong commitment to safety practices
Team player with a positive attitude
Well organised with a proactive approach
Eager to learn with a growth mindset
Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team
