Jaybro is hiring a Distribution Centre Manager to lead our team in Arndell Park, NSW.

In this role you will be responsible for all sites operationally from warehouse and production to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Facility Management of all sites are maintained to the Jaybro Group standard to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Lead a state team of A- Players

• Work with Inventory and procurement team on stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates (if applicable).

• Ensure regular cycle counts are completed and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.

• Manage state freight costs to ensure sound expense management and profitability whilst providing Jaybro Groups wow service.

• Lead and coordinate state and site-based projects and execute actions that may relate to local or national operations strategy and or continuous improvement.

• Develop and lead annual and quarterly business plans for the state with each site with Warehouse Manager/Coordinator.

• Responsible for ensuring all HSEQ responsibilities for all state sites are in place and monitor for continuous improvement.

• Continuously identify and lead opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, streamline processes, and optimise inventory management.

• Proactively manage issue log meetings – troubleshooting and actioning improvements

• Regularly carry out Cost Analysis and prepare business cases for operational improvements at a site level.

• Manage rosters, hours, time and attendance, headcount and wages budgets to ensure sound operational expense management.

Requirements:

• Tertiary level qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or relevant discipline or equivalent Distribution Centre, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations experience

• Distribution management experience working in similar roles within the construction, civil infrastructure or related industry sectors

• Experience managing a team providing operational guidance and leadership on warehouse and production tasks and responsibilities.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing time and tasks effectively

• Clear communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the business.

• Ability to work autonomously within a team environment

• Proven experience leading safety in an operational environment
