As a Warehouse Operator, you are responsible for various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials. The focus of this role is to ensure all goods are received and stored correctly, and customer orders are picked, checked, packed, dispatched correctly.
You will also be required to go out on deliveries as needed, WOWing customers with service.
The role is full-time with working hours of 7:30am - 3:30pm.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, ensuring all deliveries are properly documented and logged in the inventory management system.
Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
Prepare shipments for outbound delivery and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols.
As required, deliver orders to our customers within the Fyshwick area
Requirements
1+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution
Delivery driving experience with a clean driving record
Full C-class drivers licence required
Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable
A strong commitment to safety practices
Team player with a positive attitude
Well organised with a proactive approach
Eager to learn with a growth mindset
Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team
