We are looking for a Branch Manager to lead our Mackay location. Reporting to the State Business Manager.
In this Full-time Monday to Friday role, you will be responsible for delivering profitable revenue growth across sales, customer service, warehousing, and last-mile delivery for the region. This role is focused on driving market share, margin expansion, customer retention, and operational performance in the respective region.
Responsibilities
Own the P&L and drive growth, delivering strong commercial performance across customers, products, pricing and sales mix.
Lead a high-performing team, building an A-player culture across sales, customer service, warehouse, transport and operations.
Drive operational excellence, ensuring efficient order-to-delivery, inventory, logistics and workforce management.
Build strong customer partnerships, developing relationships with customers, contractors and project partners to drive retention and growth.
Manage financial and supply chain performance, including budgets, forecasting, wages, stock availability, inventory turns and cost control.
Champion safety and continuous improvement, maintaining high HSEQ standards while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, productivity and branch performance.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience within the infrastructure, construction, or related industry.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and overall business performance.
People leadership capability, with a proven ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop high-performing sales and operations teams.
Strong safety focus, with the ability to maintain and promote a safe, compliant working environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach and the ability to work effectively across teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by excellent interpersonal and negotiation capabilities.
Technology and systems capability, with experience using CRM and business systems; Salesforce and SAP experience preferred.
