We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead our Carole Park Team. Reporting to the State Business Manager.
In this Full-time Monday to Friday role, you will be responsible for dispatch & logistics to ensure the efficient and accurate dispatch of client’s product orders for Metro, Regional and Interstate including transfers to remote depots. Responsible for all HSEQ and Facility Management.
Responsibilities
Lead by example in health, safety, quality and environmental compliance, ensuring all team members follow HSEQ policies and safe work practices.
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, maintaining a safe, organised and efficient workplace aligned with Jaybro standards.
Lead, coach and support a high-performing warehouse team, including toolbox talks, team meetings and onboarding new employees.
Manage timesheets and labour resources to support operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory management, including stock control, cycle counts and audits.
Ensure plant, equipment and facilities are maintained, compliant and operating safely.
Coordinate freight and logistics with internal transport team.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency and operational performance.
Provide operational reporting and support planning in collaboration with leadership.
Champion safety and continuous improvement, maintaining high HSEQ standards while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, productivity and performance.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience within the infrastructure, construction, or related industry.
Current Forklift License and confidence operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment.
Strong ability to lead and coach, creating a positive and high-performing workplace.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach and the ability to work effectively across teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to manage operational challenges.
Technology and systems capability, with experience using SAP preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
